Shape Museum!

The kids put together an amazing 3D shape museum last week. Here's what it looked like!

Another week in 1st grade

We are off to a good start after spring break. We are back into the swing of things and learning lots of new things.

This week we will be working on:
Math: Telling time to the hour and half hour
Spelling: The different sounds of y at the end of words
baby, funny, many, my, why, fly, even, most, nobody, without
Science: We are continuing our study of good nutrition and being active
Reading: This week we are reading a story about dinosaurs and working on sequencing and using adjectives
Writing: To celebrate national poetry month we will start learning to write our own poetry!
